Brush up on your Shakespeare and head over to Centennial Park for this year’s Shakespeare in the Park. This year’s performance is the romantic comedy Love’s Labor’s Lost. This story is about 4 young men who make a pact to focus 3 years on their studies, renouncing love and women. However, on that very same day 4 beautiful women show up, making the oath very difficult to follow. This version will be set in the Victorian era with beautiful costumes and original music.
Remember to bring chairs, blanket, bug spray and cash. There will be food and drink vendors on site.
The play runs on Thursday through Sundays on August 19 – September 12 and starts at 7:30pm with pre-show entertainment starting at 6:30pm.
