One of Nashville’s newer restaurants, The Local Taco, has become quite the hit over night. They opened the first location a little over a year ago in the Sylvan Park neighborhood right on Murphy Road and will be opening a second in Brentwood soon.
It’s a small joint with simple, clean decor and a covered patio. And oh yea, the food is yummy. They have daily specials, vegetarian options and a variety of flour tortilla tacos at $2.50 a piece. They’re all good but the stand outs to me are the Korean BBQ and the Spicy Shrimp. Check out the menu online here. And don’t forget to try the queso and a margarita.
