Every Tuesday night, at the French Quarters, the Nashville Jazz Orchestra showcases a Big Band Night. Nashville is home to many world class jazz musicians, and this talent is on full display here.
The orchestra is made up of a 16-piece regular band that has saxophonist, trombonists, trumpeters, bass, piano, and drums. One of the cool things about the Tuesday night sessions is the band doesn’t rehearse. They just go where the music takes them.
Tuesdays at the French Quarters has become the place for jazz musicians and fans to get together. As one of the members said, “Once people experience the band, they’re hooked.”
The show starts at 7pm.
