31. Adventure Science Center

The Adventure Science Center is a great place to go on this rainy day. The Center offers over 150 interactive exhibits that is primarily meant to be entertaining for children, but the parents usually find themselves having just as much fun.

The exhibits include the Sudekum Planetarium, the Adventure Tower (possibly one of the best views of Nashville as you make your way up the tower), Body Quest (an interactive display of what goes on inside your body everyday), and Mission:Possible (and exhibit which shows you how science and medicine team up to help the disabled overcome obstacles they face in everyday life).

This Saturday (March 13th) and every second Saturday of each month, the Sudekum Planetarium is putting on a Cosmic Concert. This is a brilliant laser light show with a state of the art, full dome, digital projection and star field that brings the music to life. Go to the Planetarium this Saturday evening to see the show that includes music from the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. For more information on the concerts go to http://www.sudekumplanetarium.com/saturday/

  1. They teamed up with Yazoo for some kind of science of beer event. I really wish I could’ve gone. They seem to have those kind of fun events all the time so I’m looking forward to checking it out.
