If you have not started training for one of these runs, now is the time to start. This event draws people from all over the U.S. It is not a boring run as the scenic route takes you along many of Nashville’s sights including Music Row, Centennial Park, the State Capitol Building, Shelby Park, the Cumberland River, and ends at LP Field.
The event is a great tool to help promote Nashville to become a more active city. To thank all the runners and celebrate their accomplishment there is a free concert after the race. Past performers have included Phil Vassar, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Sarah Evans, Jo Dee Messina, and Kenny Rogers.
Join a training group or start one to motivate you to the finish line.
The website has plenty of information on training and nutrition to help you get the most out of the run.
