I’ve got a soft spot for Nashville since I went to college there back in the late 90′s. I was actively involved in the volunteer scene back then so it warms my heart to see that there are still projects like this around. I’d definitely suggest participating as not only do you help to improve the city, but you also meet a ton of new people from every part of the city.
Andrew, you’ve provided Nashvillians with such a great resource with this blog. Thank you so much for including Hands On Nashville. We are humbled and honored by your kind words and support.
I’d like your readers and fans to know that they can follow us on twitter now at HONashville or become a fan of our Facebook page. We have an informative electronic newsletter and a form to sigh up for it on our HON website. Also, under the “Volunteer” link on our home page you can find our calendar of volunteer projects.
No matter your interest or skills, the need for volunteers never ceases and there is always something for everyone.
Again, thank you Andrew.
