3. The Belcourt Theatre

Nashville is not only about music. If you are looking for a unique entertainment experience then check out The Belcourt Theatre in Hillsboro Village. As noted by the theatre, they have proven themselves to be “a cultural anchor for the diverse Nashville community.”

The Belcourt is on of the last neighborhood theatres and offers a variety of independent, local, and classical films. They also feature plays, lectures, and other community events.

The concession stand is part of the experience of the Belcourt. They have your traditional offerings such as candy, popcorn, and Cokes. What makes it stand out is they also offer beer (a rotating selection of Yazoo), wine, liquor, and even pizza.

Make sure to go to their website as the entertainment list is extensive.

Don’t forget that one the second saturday during the summer months the Belcourt has it’s free outdoor movie screenings. All you need is a lawn chair or a blanket and you can enjoy classic movies of all kinds. It’s a great way to treat your family to an outing without having to dip into your wallet.
